I studied Medicine at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, I did my Ophthalmology speacilization program at Universidad de Monterrey and a Glaucoma Fellowship at CODET Vision Institute in Tijuana. BC, with over 10 years of experience in the eyecare field, and +2500 successful ophthalmological procedures; my area of expertise is minimally invasive ocular treatments.
My office is located at New City Medical plaza, the most important medical tourism development in the border to the United States.
I’m certified by Consejo Mexicano de Oftalmología, and I’m an active member of Sociedad Mexicana de Oftalmología, Colegio de Oftalmología de Baja California; as well as international associations such as American Academy Of Ophthalmology, American Society Of Cataract And Refractive Surgery y Women In Ophthalmology.

Which conditions I diagnose and treat?

Types of refractive errors, most common symptom is blurred vision, double vision, haziness, glare or halos around bright lights.
Blepharitis, lacrimal duct obstruction, chalazion, hordeolum or droopy eyelids
An eye disease that damages the optic nerve, usually caused by elevated pressure inside the eye; untreated it can lead to blindness.
Is a clouding of the normally clear lens of the eye, resulting in blurred vision

When the ability to accommodate nearby objects is lost. This condition is produced by aging, and often occurs between the ages of 40 and 60.
Lack of lubrication and moisture on the surface of the eye, you may experience irritated, gritty, scratchy or burning eyes, excess watering; and blurred vision.
Abnormal growth of the red and whitish color of the conjunctiva, which invades the cornea, as it grows it can cause discomfort such as tearing, redness or foreign body sensation.
Other conditions
It is a common eye condition that causes the eyelids to become red, swollen, irritated, and itchy.
Inflammation of the cornea. The most common cause of keratitis is contact lens-related infections. Common symptoms are low vision, pain, and discharge.
It is an injury to the eyes or the cavities that are lodged. The most common are scratches or abrasions to the eye.
Eye irritation and allergic conjunctivitis (acute conjunctivitis) can occur from different allergens in the environment. This can cause burning, itching, and frequent tearing.
Eye problem that occurs when the retina separates from its normal position at the back of the eye, causing acute loss of vision. This condition is considered a medical emergency.
They can appear as spots, pieces of thread, jagged lines, or even as small cobwebs, in some cases they can be a sign of a more serious visual condition.
Eye disease that can cloud central vision. It occurs when aging damages the macula, the part of the eye that controls sharp frontal vision.
